You are an eagle

Verse (Urdu):

نہیں تیرا نشیمن قصرِ سلطانی کے گنبد پہ

تو شاہین ہے بسیرا کر پہاڑوں کی چٹانوں پہ

English Interpretation:

Your abode is not on the domes of the royal palace,

You are an eagle; make your home on the cliffs of mountains.

This powerful verse is from Allama Iqbal's poetry, and it carries a profound message. Iqbal encourages individuals not to seek comfort and luxury in the grandeur of royal palaces, symbolized by "qasr e sultani ke gumbad" (domes of the royal palace). Instead, he urges them to be like a Shaheen (eagle), a symbol of freedom and ambition, and make their dwelling on the rugged and challenging terrain of mountains, represented by "paharhooN ki chattanooN" (cliffs of mountains).
